Salary Range: 64000 to 90000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

Responsibilities

• Processing our microscopy imaging data using our internally developed pipelines and overseeing its successful execution.
• Performing QC on the produced results and perform manual interventions where needed.
• Occasionally performing annotation work involving image segmentation and semantic classification which you will be trained for as part of your onboarding.
• Working closely with wet lab and microscopy scientists to optimize data analysis and acquisition processes
• Troubleshooting problems and collaborating on improvements.
• Engaging in a culture of excellent documentation, preparation of reports, and presenting results internally and externally

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in computer science, computer vision, quantitative biology (e.g. biophysics, bioengineering) or a related field in science and/or engineering, or equivalent working experience and track record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Nextflow, or other workflow scripting languages, is a plus, but the necessary skills can also be acquired as part of the on-boarding process.
• Previous experience using Fiji/ImageJ for image data analysis.
• Confidence working in the Linux terminal environment
• Prior experience with the Python, Java and/or Groovy programming languages.
