Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency with stormwater design and modeling software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TR-20, TR-55, and HydroCAD is required.
  • Knowledge of Maryland and regional stormwater regulations and permitting processes is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Design stormwater management systems, including detention facilities, drainage networks, and erosion and sediment control plans.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to evaluate the effects of stormwater and design mitigation measures.
  • Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations.
  • Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and technical reports related to stormwater projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Professional Engineer license is preferred.
