Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 12 years of healthcare advertising, pharmaceutical marketing, or agency experience, including significant experience leading direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Deep expertise in pharmaceutical direct-to-consumer marketing, including extensive experience leading linear television, connected television, streaming, and video campaigns from strategy through execution.
  • Strong understanding of media strategy, media planning, and collaboration with media agency partners across integrated omnichannel campaigns.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, integrated healthcare marketing campaigns within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, medical, legal, and regulatory review processes, and the evolving healthcare marketing landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience driving integrated campaign pull-through across social, digital, and broader omnichannel ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships and influence key business decisions.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience overseeing complex account financials, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align diverse teams around shared business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior strategic and client relationship lead across key direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor and day-to-day escalation point for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated direct-to-consumer campaigns across linear television, connected television, digital, social, print, customer relationship management, and emerging media channels.
  • Drive strategic alignment and pull-through of campaign messaging and creative across social and digital channels to ensure a cohesive omnichannel brand experience.
  • Partner with Media teams and external media partners to support integrated campaign planning, audience strategy, media execution, and optimization.
  • Drive brand growth by identifying strategic opportunities and delivering innovative, insight-driven marketing solutions.
  • Partner with Creative, Strategy, Media, Production, Analytics, Social, and Project Management teams to ensure best-in-class campaign execution.
  • Lead high-profile television initiatives, including linear and connected television production oversight, messaging strategy, regulatory alignment, and integrated launch planning.
  • Provide strategic guidance on market dynamics, competitive activity, audience engagement, media trends, and evolving healthcare marketing opportunities.
  • Ensure all deliverables are executed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee account financials, including forecasting, revenue tracking, profitability, and resource allocation.
  • Drive organic account growth through strong partnership development and identification of new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Mentor and develop account team members while fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture.
  • Provide leadership across cross-functional teams and help drive operational excellence throughout the business.
  • Partner with senior agency leadership to support long-term account planning and overall business strategy.
  • Participate in client-related travel as required, including local tri-state and domestic travel, with potential for international travel.

BGB Group, a commercial solutions company for biopharmaceutical firms, has acquired Hayden Consulting Group, a market access and patient services consultancy. Financial terms were not disclosed. Hayden specialises in resolving complex payer, reimbursement and affordability challenges for global pharmaceutical brands. The acquisition combines Hayden's market access expertise with BGB's strategic advisory services, which span commercial due diligence, new product planning and go-to-market strategies. Hayden will continue to be led by co-founders Jamie Sidore and David MacDougall, becoming part of BGB's strategic advisory practice headed by Hilary Gentile.
