The Role

The Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations related to collections and accounts receivable. Responsibilities include managing the AR portfolio to ensure timeliness of collections, overseeing cash applications and reporting. Building and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external customers is paramount to this position. In addition, managing, recruiting, and training A/R staff as we grow is critical.

What You’ll Do

Manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable and collections team members
Develop and drive collection strategy and execution
Manage the accounting close and internal controls for AR and collections
Drive cash forecasting, and report on trends
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
Effectively lead, coach, and develop direct reports
Ensure the effectiveness of existing processes, and design and implement new processes, policies, and procedures to enable greater effectiveness

Requirements

4+ years of billing and collections experience
3+ years of management experience
Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Commitment to excellent customer service
Successful in dealing with company personnel at all levels
Ability to work independently

Nice to Have

BS/BA in Accounting
Experience working in Sales Force.com and NetSuite
