Responsibilities
  • Investigate and evaluate new coatings products, technologies and competitive trends across a broad variety of industries
  • Identify, explore and prove the feasibility of novel product chemistries
  • Plan, develop and implement scientifically designed experiments from feasibility to commercialization
  • Monitor and supervise all stages of product development, from lab to production scale-up batches
  • Collaborate with product development and commercialization groups
  • Collaborate with marketing on new product concepts
  • Drive results to focus on delivering customer value and show a dedication to continuous improvement
  • Document inventions and identify intellectual property potentials
  • Collaborate with procurement to identify and evaluate new and alternative materials
