Requirements
  • Minimum 6-8 years of sales experience (prior sales in State & Local Government)
  • 2 + Years of direct enterprise software executive sales experience (SaaS/Cloud sales)
  • Experience closing 6-7 figure deals with SLED (State & Local a plus)
  • Technical acumen with the ability to relate it with business value
  • Consistent track record of sales stellar performance
  • Comfortable with both an enterprise and transactional sales model
  • Experience and credibility selling at the CxO and senior sales business manager level
  • Ability to forecast, handle sales expenses
  • Excellent qualifying and closing skills
  • Business development, prospecting skills and ability to build strong partner relationships
  • Up to 50% travel
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Location: Must be located in NE or IA (will cover NE / IA territory)
Responsibilities
  • You will use your sales experience and connections in this vertical to close multi-million dollar deals with this customer. You are a self-starter and you will execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. You will bring your innovation to the table to help close more deals with this customer
  • You possess both a sales and sufficient technical background that enables you to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with security analysts, software developers and IT architects. You are strong and a creative thinker who thrives in a multi-team environment and adopts all aspects of selling. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace change
