SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President of US Sales, the Director of Sales (Aquablation Therapy) is responsible for the development of all sales activities in the assigned region while achieving profitability and growth targets in line with PROCEPT’s vision and values. The Director of Sales is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and management of the Regional Sales Managers and Key Accounts Managers within the region.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- Execute National Sales Strategy resulting in increased utilization across the US
- Participate in national sales meetings
- Develop metrics with Vice President of US Sales to monitor US sales performance to goals
- Drive field level activities to cultivate new accounts while growing business at existing accounts driving sustainable growth
- Manage deployment of key resources across US to drive business performance
- Adhere to monthly reports analyzing regional business performance
- Develop key relationships in targeted facilities
- Provide expertise in clinical settings and at convention / sales meetings to promote sales and further PROCEPT BioRobotics’ reputation in the marketplace
- Conduct regular field sales visits with Sales Management and Sales Representatives to assist in sales execution and professional development of the team
- Conduct product presentations or instruction to small and large groups to promote adoption and increased utilization at the customer level
- Provide field support in areas of product reimbursement & product complaint handling
- Adhere to performance management disciplines of weekly 1:1 calls, weekly/bi-weekly team calls, quarterly field rides with follow up, bi-annual team meetings, and annual performance reviews
- Participate as an integral member of the management team that develops, delivers, and improves programs and training events that incorporate instructional design best practices in areas such as selling skills, business acumen, clinical excellence, and technology mastery
- Support key business projects as requested that enhance training capabilities and outcomes for Sales, Professional Education, Marketing, Clinical Regulatory, and Research and Development
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality and EHS policies
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess:

- Bachelor’s degree – four-year degree from accredited reputable institution
- Start-up company experience selling game changing technology
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with sales management, and/or training or marketing organization is required
- Prior experience leading sales managers is preferred
- High level of technical/clinical product knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must have proven track record of participation leading/teaching at organizational meetings. Prior people management experience is not required, but extensive mentoring by experienced manager would be recommended if not
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a cross functional team member is required
- Excellent presentation (platform) skills are required
- Proven ability to be a self-starter and goal oriented is required
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required
- Must thrive in complex environment and be able to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in specified geographic area
- Leadership skills as demonstrated through past professional performance in the medical device arena, and involvement in sports, professional clubs or associations
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other internal groups, clients, customers, and the general public

- The employee will occasionally be exposed to clinical operating rooms, for which proper personal protection equipment will be assigned and worn.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
