  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience as a deputy program manager in a program of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Superior communication skills: ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and negotiate with stakeholders and internal teams
Responsibilities
  • Support the Program Manager in providing financial, schedule, scope, and technical oversight and direction for the following functional teams: Database Administration, Help Desk, Training, Network, Deployment, and Website Maintenance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and all stakeholders when the Program Manager derives and delegates authority
  • Support meetings and status reports with inputs, presentations, and attendance including the monthly Program Monthly Review (PMR), Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), and Operations Change Control Board (CCB)
  • Support the annual Conference (twice per year) including all aspects of meeting planning logistics: Work with the venue to arrange conference rooms, seating, audio/visual (A/V) equipment and operations, availability of demonstration and/or breakout rooms, participant registration, name tags, tracking participant completion, and continuing education certificates
Desired Qualifications
  • PM certifications – i.e. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP)
  • Experience/background in forensic science
  • Experience managing programs that encompass a help desk component, ensuring effective customer support operations and seamless issue resolution
  • Experience with planning and coordinating both in-person and virtual conferences
