Requirements
  • An associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or high school diploma/GED and two years of customer service or administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology and academic processes.
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds, occasional driving, and the listed bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking activities.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain office supplies, manage inventory, and ensure the office environment is organized and professional.
  • Coordinate and manage appointments, meetings, and conferences for department staff and faculty.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail, and serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations, and maintain accurate records and files.
  • Assist in planning and organizing departmental events, seminars, and workshops.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders, and assist with budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Maintain databases, ensure data integrity, and generate reports as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students, and assist with special projects and other assigned duties.
