Payroll Administrator

The Payroll Administrator at Sollis Health will process and verify payroll information to meet and execute our bi-weekly pay schedule using ADP’s Workforce Now and Workforce Manager partnering with internal stakeholders including the People, Finance and Operations teams. The Payroll Administrator will report to the Controller under the Accounting teams. 

Hybrid - 2 days/week in office in NYC 

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the accuracy and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and wage/hour laws.
• Bi-Weekly Payroll Touch-base with the Operations team to discuss payroll issue and/or findings.
• Have a deep understanding of Sollis’ compensation models including hourly and salaried employees as well as our bonus, commission and other payment structures.
• Have knowledge of the General Ledger (GL) and GL related updates within ADP and partner cross functional role with Finance regarding uploads and accruals related to Payroll (Payroll, PTO, Benefits, etc.)
• Manage the accrual of payroll and performing reconciliations to support the monthly close
• Suggest changes to payroll policies, procedures and reporting that supports a high level of customer service.
• Be the subject matter expert for ADP WFN and ADP WFM, our time tracking and payroll tool.
• Provide on-going payroll analytics and insight reports to cross-functional stakeholders as well as ad hoc requests.
• Perform duties related to Sollis’ overall payroll function including the review, correction,
• and approval of data.
• Provides payroll guidance on taxation and other issues making recommendations to adjust as needed.
• Resolve payroll-related discrepancies with employees.
• Perform related duties as required

Experience

We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally, we would expect that you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration preferred
• 2-3 years of prior payroll experience required
• Experience with ADP WFN and WFM required
• Multi-state payroll processing preferred
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
• Experience with an ERP (e.g., Intacct, Netsuite)

Comp & Benefits:

Range: $75,000-$110,000 + Bonus + Equity 

This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates nationally. Sollis Health is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
