Overview
The BI Analyst is responsible for the creation, delivery and maintenance of Power BI dashboards using Profitero and third-party ecommerce data. In addition, this role will involve providing direct support for specific clients.
This role will work closely with colleagues in the global analytics team to drive new innovative ways to reflect our data and provide actionable insight for our clients.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Create, deliver, and maintain Power BI dashboards
- Understand client briefs and convert into technical requirements.
- Act as direct client liaison during the build process to gain feedback.
- Ensure all new data visualisations are scalable using Profitero’s API through Google BigQuery
- Present dashboards back to clients and build relationships with key contacts within these clients.
- Create documentation for Power BI dashboards
Innovation
- Work with BI Lead to research and develop new methodologies of visualising data.
- Set up feedback loops with analytics colleagues to understand client requirements.
- Implement best practice in data architecture and data modelling.
- Act as champion to train other team members on Power BI.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM Subject
- Have at least 1 years’ experience of working in a data visualisation role
- Demonstrated experience building BI dashboards
- Demonstrated experiences using SQL to query a database
Qualifications and Skills
- Power BI (Advanced Skills)
- Python
- SQL
- Excel/PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational, decision-making, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to prioritise
- Strong time-management and adherence to deadlines
- Multi-cultural awareness
- Excellent communications skills (including good standard of both written and spoken English)
