Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience working in similar capacity managing benefit program design and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity, professionalism and integrity
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and proven ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to provide solutions in creative and effective ways
  • In-depth professional knowledge and acumen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player who can easily manage shifting priorities and multi-task in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day administration for all employee benefits including vendor management, reporting and communication
  • Evaluate trends in benefit elections, market trends, and results of employee engagement surveys to determine company’s competitive position in employee benefits and any potential changes to programs in line with the overall benefits strategy
  • Drive the planning and roll out of US open enrollment including advising on recommended plan improvements, implementation of new benefit carriers, employee communication, and data auditing
  • Act as point of contact for third party LOA administrator to support leave of absence administration and ADAAA requests
  • Provide escalation support on complex benefit-related issues
  • Act as a point of contact in planning and organizing benefits events such as open enrollment, health fairs and wellness education initiatives and partnerships with Employee Resource Groups
  • Drive benefits process improvement activities, including policy development, process design documentation and training
  • Manage relationships with brokers and vendors
  • Evaluate Workday process optimization and improvements, conduct compliance and data analysis reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal legislation related to benefits including preparation of required notices, Form 5500s, Summary Annual Reports, SFHCSO, and ACA reporting
