Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 5+ years of equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience
  • FANUC, Vision Systems, PLC and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in industrial electronic systems, electrical motor controls, programmable controls, printed circuits, AC/DC frequency drives, AutoCAD, Panel Building and print design, and Powder Metal Molding Press controls
  • Experience working in Powder Metal environment
Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and repairing advanced electrical/electronic systems (Allen-Bradley, FANUC, SIEMENS, Mitsubishi, KEYENCE, ABB, COGNEX)
  • Driving root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing and implementing new technologies and experimental projects
  • Training cross-functional teams and creating clear work instructions
  • Leading electro-mechanical upgrades and process improvements
  • Working knowledge of applicable hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient with EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint (or equivalent programs)
  • Understands requirements of many jobs performed by the team
  • Good facilitation skills
  • Understands different decision making and problem solving techniques
  • Demonstrates ability to act with limited direction
  • Communication skills necessary to work with people outside the team
  • Demonstrates ability to get results through others
  • Strong listening and communication skills
