Operational Excellence Optimization Internship
Summary:
The Optimization Intern reports to our Operational Excellence Manager. This role is responsible for supporting Operational Excellence, Professional Services and Customer Success, and Support initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Internal Customers: Be the go-to person for incoming requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system access (like Smartsheet).
- Junior System Admin Activities: Gain hands-on experience in managing system activities, maintaining assets, and taking charge of a major asset management project.
- Workflow Management: Learn the ins and outs of creating and managing workflows, while also contributing to database management.
- SOP Documentation: If you have experience in SOP creation, you’ll get the chance to document and refine processes for future use.
- Project Management: Assist in converting service agreements and estimates, managing users, and supporting the team with Adobe documents.
- Testing & Validation: Ensure the smooth operation of our processes by testing from start to finish, identifying and resolving any issues along the way.
Education and Experience:
- Working towards a degree in one of the following or equivalent work experience:
- Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Documentation Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, or Information Systems
- Tech-Savvy: You have a knack for IT, especially in using tools like Power Automate.
- Detail-Oriented: You pay attention to the small things that make a big difference.
- Problem-Solver: You’re not just identifying problems, you’re also excited to find solutions.
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy diving into numbers, using AI to uncover insights, and participating in each step of thorough processes.
- Team Player: You work well with others and are eager to collaborate with and support cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work up to 25 hours a week
