As a UX/UI intern at Dragos, you’ll work across design, product, and engineering teams to refine your skills and gain experience in new areas. This offers the opportunity to work remotely and learn from seasoned experts to get the hands-on experience needed for a successful career in UI/UX. You will help understand and incorporate customer needs to aid in creating the best user experience of Dragos’s platforms.

Responsibilities
- Participate in usability research studies
- Research and prototype effective interaction patterns
- Create artifacts for products, including sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, user flows, or UI designs
- Work and learn from senior designers to contribute to our design system
- Join critiques with the design team
- Advocate for a human-centered and inquisitive culture in the organization
- Gain additional experience with tools, such as Figma.
Requirements
- A current or recent study of UX design, UI design, or equivalent relevant subjects
- Demonstrable understanding of design principles
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, XD, Invision), an interest in cybersecurity, and familiarity with remote work environments
- While we do ask for a current portfolio, written case studies may be substituted. Please include your areas of interest within the design discipline (e.g., visual design, information architecture, accessibility)
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Interns are expected to work no more than 20 hours a week from January 30, 2023, through May 12, 2023
- $20/hour
- A laptop and necessary software will be provided
