Requirements
  • Willingness to obtain a security clearance.
  • At least 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, including at least 2 years working with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Virtual Private Cloud, Identity and Access Management, Google Kubernetes Engine, and BigQuery.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline automation, integration, and management.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, security personnel, and government stakeholders to support development and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure cloud services meet service-level agreements.
  • Implement cloud best practices and ensure compliance with federal security standards such as FedRAMP and NIST.
  • Provide documentation and share knowledge with the broader engineering team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts and understanding of authorization-to-operate processes.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
