T-Mobile generates $16B free cash flow annually despite 23% stock decline

T-Mobile stock offers a free cash flow yield of 8.2%, nearly double the S&P 500 median of 4.5%. Over the last twelve months, the wireless and broadband provider generated about $16.2 billion in free cash flow, up from $3.8 billion three years ago. The shares have declined 23% in twelve months amid concerns about slowing growth. Revenue increased 7.9% in the latest quarter, down from 11.3% growth two quarters earlier. Operating margin contracted to 20% from 23% a year ago. T-Mobile carries debt equal to 69% of its market value, compared with 21% for the broader S&P 500. When factoring in net debt, the effective cash yield drops from 8.2% to 5.2%. The company reports third-quarter results on 28 October.

T-Mobile on Columbia Pike closes for good. Published October 8, 2026 at 9:15AM A T-Mobile store on Columbia Pike has permanently closed. Crews were seen clearing out the retailer at 3211 Columbia Pike earlier this week, and signs posted in the windows indicate that it won't be reopening. "Thank you to all of our amazing customers for your support over the years," the message says, directing customers to the nearest store at 7262 Columbia Pike in Annandale. "[We're] evolving our retail strategy toward a more concentrated portfolio of stores that are increasingly company-operated, enabled by powerful digital tools like T-Life, and staffed by our award-winning team of experts," T-Mobile told the business magazine Fast Company in late August. * Dan Egitto Dan Egitto is an editor and reporter at ARLnow. T-Mobile is replacing phone promos with "picks," and it's more complicated than it sounds.

T-Mobile is replacing phone promos with "picks," and it's more complicated than it sounds. Oct 6, 2026 T-Mobile's upcoming T-Mix lineup includes three tiers, Standard, More, and Loaded, starting at $65 for one line. The plans replace traditional phone promos with a new "picks" system that customers can spend on either phone deals or perks like Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN. T-Mobile is about to shake up its plans again, and this time it's changing how you get phone deals and perks. According to PhoneArena, the carrier's upcoming T-Mix lineup will have three tiers called Standard, More, and Loaded. It's also introducing a new "picks" system that could change how you shop for your next phone, whether that's the iPhone Duo or one of the best Android phones. T-Mix Standard is the new entry point. It starts at $65 for one line, then drops to $105 for two lines, $130 for three, $155 for four, and $180 for five. You get unlimited talk, text, and data, with 50GB of premium data. T-Mix More starts at $85 for a single line, with unlimited premium data and 60GB of hotspot. That's $5 cheaper than Experience More for one line. T-Mix Loaded starts at $105, with unlimited premium data and 250GB of hotspot, which matches Experience Beyond. The plans are reportedly tax-exclusive, but there's some good news too. The AutoPay discount is expected to have no cap on lines. How T-Mobile's new picks system works. This is where things get complicated. Instead of tying phone promos to your plan, T-Mobile will give you a set number of picks to spend on either phone deals or perks. * Standard: One pick per line, up to four * More: Two picks per line for the first three lines, then one per line, up to 12 * Loaded: Three picks for a single line, up to 20 The leaked perks list includes Netflix, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, and DashPass. Earlier reports also mentioned Apple Music, YouTube, and Xbox Game Pass. That's a lot of streaming services to choose from, but there's a catch. If you pick Netflix, you may have one fewer for a phone deal. T-Mobile hasn't officially announced T-Mix yet, and it's unclear what happens to existing Experience or legacy plans. Reports suggest the plans could launch in the second half of October. On paper, T-Mix gives customers more flexibility. But after a summer of forced plan migrations and the August 2.0 refresh, T-Mobile customers are tired of keeping up with plan changes. A new points-style currency doesn't make things any easier. Until T-Mobile explains exactly how picks work, I'd hold off on switching and keep checking our deals page for phone promos without strings attached.

True Religion to open its first Long Island location.

True Religion to open its first Long Island location. Jeans retailer True Religion will be opening its first Long Island store at the Green Acres Mall. The Gardena, Calif.-based apparel chain leased a 2,818-square-foot space at the Valley Stream retail complex. Founded in 2002, True Religion offers "urban casual lifestyle apparel and accessories" for women, men and kids. The brand has survived two bankruptcies and now has more than 60 stores throughout the U.S. The company is planning to increase its store count to 150 within the next few years, according to published reports. True Religion merchandise is also sold in major department stores and other retailers. Green Acres has also signed two other new tenants. Footwear brand Timberland leased a 1,608-square-foot store. This will be Timberland's third Long Island location, joining a store in Roosevelt Field and outlet stores at Tanger Outlets Deer Park and Tanger Outlets Riverhead. T-Mobile Northeast LLC, the wireless network operator that is part of Bellevue, WA-based T-Mobile US Inc., leased a 3,488-square-foot store at Green Acres. The Town of Hempstead Industrial Development Agency approved the three new leases at its Sept. 29 meeting. Macerich, the Santa Monica, Calif.-based owner of Green Acres Mall and Green Acres Commons, is required to get the IDA's approval for the tenants' leases under their tax-break agreements. In 2024, the PILOT agreement for the mall was extended until 2031 and the PILOT for the Commons expires at the end of this year. "These new leases continue to bolster our confidence in having made the right decision to provide assistance to the mall," Fred Parola, Hempstead IDA CEO, said in a written statement. "They will bring additional customers to the mall, provide additional jobs. and help to generate new sales-tax revenues." T-Mobile's next plans could give customers more ways to mix things up.

T-Mobile's next plans could give customers more ways to mix things up. Three new tiers could arrive alongside a fresh approach to perks. Joe Maring / Android Authority Add Android Authority on Google: * T-Mobile is reportedly preparing three new T-Mix plans called Standard, More, and Loaded. * T-Mix Standard could start at $65 for one line, while More and Loaded largely mirror existing Experience plans. * The new branding may tie into T-Mobile's rumored pick-your-perk system, though that part isn't confirmed yet. Between this summer's forced migrations and August's "2.0" refresh, keeping track of T-Mobile plans is starting to feel like a part-time job - just when you think you know the lineup, another one appears. Sure enough, T-Mobile may already be preparing its next batch, this time under a new "T-Mix" banner. Its top deals of the day. According to The Mobile Report, T-Mobile is preparing three main T-Mix tiers: Standard, More, and Loaded. Nothing is official yet, and the details could still change before launch. T-Mix Standard looks like the most interesting addition. It reportedly starts at $65 for one line and includes unlimited talk, text, and data with 50GB of premium data. Pricing would rise to $105 for two lines, $130 for three, and $155 for four, before topping out at six lines for $205. More and Loaded sound much more familiar. More reportedly costs $85 for one line with unlimited premium data and 60GB of hotspot data, while Loaded starts at $105 with unlimited premium data and a 250GB hotspot allowance. Those prices largely mirror the current Experience More and Experience Beyond plans, although More would be $5 cheaper for a single line. Taxes, fees, and AutoPay discounts aren't included. There may also be an Essentials Saver 3.0 plan at $55 for one line or $100 for two, plus versions aimed at students, military members, first responders, and customers 55 and older. This comes only a few months after T-Mobile forced many longtime customers off older plans, then rolled out Essentials 2.0 and refreshed Experience plans in August. More recently, Android Authority learned the carrier could be preparing a pick-your-perk system with options such as Apple Music, YouTube, Google AI, and Xbox Game Pass. That may explain the T-Mix name. The Mobile Report suspects the new plans could let customers mix and match those upcoming perks, but that remains speculation. A previous report suggested those might be going live today, October 1, but so far T-Mobile has yet to go official with any of these rumored changes.
