  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related degree, or five years of related experience.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Experience creating digital content for websites or other online platforms.
  • Ability to research unfamiliar topics and create clear, engaging web content.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with content management systems; Drupal experience is preferred.
  • Strong visual design understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Strong organizational, creative, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Research academic programs, departments, and university initiatives to develop accurate and engaging website content.
  • Write, edit, and organize website content aligned with brand standards, user needs, search engine optimization, and AI-powered search best practices.
  • Create visually engaging, user-focused webpages using Drupal while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team members on digital marketing initiatives and related content projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization and AI search best practices.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with PHP, jQuery, and related programming languages.
  • Experience in a university or higher education environment or a large nonprofit organization.
  • Experience developing and analyzing integrated digital marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems.
  • Strong strategic marketing project management skills.
