Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program at an accredited US based university or college
  • Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in undergrad
  • Must be enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited university/college after the completion of the internship
  • Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision, design and execute synthetic chemistry experiments, analyze results, and document work using an Electronic Laboratory Notebook
  • Carry out all laboratory work in a safe manner
  • Document, summarize, and present ongoing research activities to project teams
  • A strong interest in organic chemistry
  • A minimum of two semesters of organic chemistry (with labs) completed
  • Undergraduate research experience, including general familiarity with setting up reactions, common analytical techniques (TLC, NMR, HPLC), crystallization, distillation is preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Undergraduate (or graduate student, if applicable) in the or related field enrolled in a 4-year accredited university/college; including enrollment in the Fall Semester after completing the internship
  • Good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ability to complete 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and September
  • Showcase your work with a final poster board presentation near the conclusion of your internship
