Requirements
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related Engineering field
- 10+ years of engineering experience relating to Aircraft Structure and Interiors modification
- 10+ years of experienced required in technical report writing skills to prepare test plans, test results, structural analysis substantiations, and regulatory compliance reports
- 10+ years of experience under Part 121, 135, and/or 91 as it pertains to Embraer and airbus Aircraft structures and interiors
- Knowledge of Embraer and Airbus aircraft structures, interiors, and systems
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate to Leadership
- Must be able to handle high-stress situations
- Able to manage and coordinate several tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
Responsibilities
- Review and take action in response to Airworthiness Directives (AD) to ensure compliance with FAA, ANAC, and other regulatory agency requirements and guidance
- Review Service Bulletins, Service Letters, modifications, and other engineering technical documents for applicability, systems reliability, and economical benefits
- Develop technical data required for modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting of aircraft structures, interiors, and related components
- Obtain regulatory approval for modifications and repairs performed on aircraft structures and interiors and components
- Develop customized procedures and special criteria for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance actions which are not addressed in existing manuals
- Prepare engineering documents such as Engineering Orders (EO) to provide technical dispositions for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions on aircraft systems and components, which provide benefits in accordance with Breeze objectives
- Establish build specifications for aircraft structures, interiors, and components
- Provide on-site technical support at MRO locations during modification and outstations for AOG situations to return aircraft back into service
- Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
