Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering/test or infrastructure/architecture experience for Test Engineer (Level T02) or Masters Degree with 0 years of relevant engineering experience in related field.
  • Experience project lead planning and organizing the project, setting deadlines and milestones.
  • Experience managing the schedule and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Experience preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
  • Experience managing the team effectively, delegating tasks, providing feedback and support, and ensuring that the team works together toward the project's success.
  • Interim Clearance Required to Start.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) for Principal Test Engineer (Level T03)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering/test or infrastructure/architecture experience for Principal Test Engineer (Level T03) or Masters Degree with 3 years of relevant engineering experience in related field.
Responsibilities
  • Be a lead for projects –multiple test stations and test adapters that need to be built, drawing packages completed, etc...
  • Creating and maintaining project schedule
  • Ensure the entire scope of work required to deliver STE is captured in the project schedule
  • Collaborate with various engineering groups to identify dependencies for STE activities
  • Establish STE deliverable plan in advance of program execution (workaround for unreleased documentation, PAR NCs required for production build, resource planning/availability.
  • Facilitate completion of open action items
  • Coordinate with multi-functional teams daily as required to make sure the tasks are getting done
  • Coordinate with GSC (planning, MPM, buyers, etc.) to ensure material availability according to project schedule
  • Evaluate material shortages for impact on schedule
  • Escalate material risks to schedule for expedited needs
  • Coordinate with PM for funding for required material procurement
  • Coordinate with quality to resolve non-conformances and timely inspection
  • Coordinate with MFG Eng to expedite manufacturing paperwork (routers, MHRs, etc.)
  • Coordinate with STE team to coordinate dependencies (personnel, hardware, documentation, etc.) to support completion of activities according to schedule
  • Coordinate with subcontracts for status updates on supplier STE
  • Escalate risks to program or task schedule
  • Provide status to Program Manager (PM)
