- A Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Ten years of systems engineering experience is required.
- Develop designs for installing components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and shelters.
- Plan, direct, review, and coordinate project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met.
- Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
- Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
- Analyze hardware specifications and system and subsystem requirements to conceive and document practical hardware component designs that satisfy user requirements.
- Develop hardware installation schedules based on setup, integration, and test timelines.
- Conduct site surveys and assess and document current site network configurations and site-unique requirements.
