We are looking for a Build & Release Engineer to join our tech client’s Casual Games team. We have been developing, publishing, and operating casual games over the last decade. We create free-to-play experiences that are enjoyed by users all over the world, meeting them on the devices they use. Our purpose is to consistently create delightful, casual, and accessible experiences that you can trust.
This is an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our games are delivered robustly to our customers and in meeting our high quality and security bar. You will be responsible for implementing all requirements on the pipelines and for ensuring that our build pipelines comply with all cybersecurity regulations. You will become part of a team that values learning and growing, welcomes feedback, takes initiative, and is accountable for their work. You will be immersed in an atmosphere where innovation, creativity, and fun are valued.
Would you like to…
- Work from a prioritized Kanban board of DevOps work tasks that span multiple games and platforms.
- Work with development teams to build all components of our games, including maintaining batch files and tools, to keep up with changes in the product.
- Proactively identify and implement procedures to parallelize and streamline the build process.
- Drive the development and maintenance of build automation tools.
- Communicate with leadership technical requirements and estimates of solutions.
- Create and document technical designs of your work.
- Engage and collaborate with other Microsoft teams in support of your work.
We would like you to have…
- 3+ years of experience of building and maintaining continuous integration and release pipelines
- 4+ years of C#/.NET scripting/systems programming
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with YAML-based pipelines
- Experience with PowerShell and Bash
- Experience with Cake (C# Make) build automation system
- Experience with creating build pipelines for Unity games targeting Android, iOS and/or UWP (Universal Windows Platform)
- Experience with App Center
