Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial management, or family office operations is required, including at least 5-7 years focused on ultra-high-net-worth individuals or families in a private family office or multi-family office environment.
  • Experience with investment reporting, alternative assets, or trust and estate accounting is required.
  • Proven experience designing, building, leading, and scaling an accounting or financial services practice or team for ultra-high-net-worth clients is required.
  • Deep expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and complex multi-entity accounting involving trusts, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and partnership interests is required.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Intacct, or NetSuite, and/or experience with bill pay platforms is required.
  • Exceptional Excel skills are required.
  • Experience interfacing with trustees, attorneys, accountants, and other advisors and professional bodies regarding private clients' wealth planning is required.
  • Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7, and Series 63 exams must be obtained within the first three months of employment.
  • Candidates must be resourceful, attentive to detail, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for comprehensive accounting and payment services, including the end-to-end bill payment process for ultra-high-net-worth clients and their entities, invoice processing, timely payments, and vendor relationship management.
  • Lead implementation of the practice by establishing robust processes, selecting and leveraging technology, and creating scalable systems to support growth and consistent service quality.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of bill pay and accounting specialists.
  • Provide strategic oversight of ultra-high-net-worth client financial operations, including end-to-end bill payment, multi-entity accounting, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of bank, brokerage, and credit card accounts.
  • Drive production of detailed financial reports, statements, cash flow analyses, budgets, and forecasts for ultra-high-net-worth families and their trusts, limited liability companies, and partnerships.
  • Monitor and coordinate cash management across accounts and entities.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial accounts, resolve discrepancies, and oversee reconciliation of client data for ultra-high-net-worth families and related entities.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for billing and financial matters, liaising with Private Wealth Advisors and external legal, financial, and other professional advisors.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, oversee their work, and ensure record accuracy.
  • Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, manage vendor accounts, and coordinate billing and changes with external parties.
  • Work with Private Wealth Management Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal teams to evolve the product offering.
Desired Qualifications
  • An ACCA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with state and federal tax matters is a plus.

ByteDance's $20B loan attracts $30B in orders to fund AI expansion

ByteDance has attracted over $30 billion in orders for a $20 billion offshore syndicated loan, representing 1.5 times oversubscription. The three-year facility, extendable to five years, marks the TikTok parent company's largest syndicated loan to date. This continues ByteDance's pattern of scaling up its borrowing. Flexential secures $800M to develop 130+ MW of data centre capacity across four US markets

Flexential has secured an $800 million credit facility to fund data centre development across four US markets. The financing will support more than 130 MW of new capacity, including facilities under construction in Atlanta-Douglasville (36 MW), Portland-Hillsboro (36 MW), and Denver-Parker (22.5 MW). The facility was oversubscribed and increased 60% from an initial $500 million target. It is backed by an 11-bank syndicate, with TD Securities as administrative agent. The funding complements equity investment from Flexential's sponsors, GI Partners and MSIP. CEO Ryan Mallory said the financing enables the company to invest ahead of enterprise and AI-driven infrastructure demand. Flexential operates 40 data centres across 18 markets in the US.
