Requirements
  • At least two years of automotive Business Manager experience.
  • A college degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive business office duties is required.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientation, organization, problem-solving, self-direction, and reliable attendance are required.
  • Certified Public Accountant certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the dealership's financial and accounting system and personnel.
  • Meet regularly with the management team to discuss business matters and develop plans to increase profitability.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets and financial statements accurately and promptly.
  • Review financial statements and ledgers and work with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process all tax reporting.
  • Coordinate with team members on account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Provide staff members with guidance needed to be productive and efficient.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
