As a Treasury Analyst at Ava Labs, you will be critical in managing day-to-day cash and crypto movements across banks, crypto wallets, and exchanges. You will assist in maintaining strong relationships with external counterparties and vendors while spearheading onboarding for new service providers. Additionally, you will monitor and report on crypto and broader financial services industry developments, providing valuable insights to guide decision-making.

This role offers exposure to the broader finance organization at Ava Labs and the business development team, working on various cross-functional initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Cash and Crypto Management: Process and monitor daily cash and crypto transactions across banks and crypto exchanges. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls. Demonstrate exceptional integrityby maintaining accurate records and adhering to the highest ethical standards
• Relationship Management: Support the treasury team in managing relationships with banks, crypto exchanges, and other financial service providers. Assist in onboarding new counterparties and service providers
• Market Surveillance: Stay informed on trends and developments in the cryptocurrency space and financial services sector, including DeFi. Provide regular updates and insights to the finance organization and the company
• Cross-functional Collaboration: You will play a key role in the CFO’s organization, working alongside accounting and strategic finance on projects and initiatives. You will develop internal reporting and analysis that aligns with the company’s commitment to transparency and integrity

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Treasury and Risk Management Expertise: 3-7 years of experience in financial services (e.g., banks or asset managers) or the crypto industry (e.g., protocols or exchanges). The ideal candidate would come from a treasury operations or risk management function.
• Cryptocurrency Knowledge: Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance. The ideal candidate would have demonstrated interest in cryptocurrency and DeFi technologies
• Analytical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, financial modeling, and basic accounting principles
• Technical Acumen: Strong ability to learn and adapt to various tools and technologies that optimize reporting, analysis, and operational efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and time zones
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical and professional standards
• Accountability and Task Ownership: Demonstrate exceptional integrity by taking full responsibility for tasks and projects. Be proactive in addressing challenges and ensure high standards are consistently met without requiring close supervision
• Adaptability and Drive: A strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Willing to roll up your sleeves and work collaboratively to achieve organizational goals

Salary Range: $94,588 to $118,235
