Hebbia.ai provides an AI-powered search tool as a browser extension that helps users locate information in long documents more efficiently. It uses AI to understand user questions and highlights the most relevant passages, offering context-aware results instead of simple keyword matching. The product targets professionals who work with large amounts of text, such as researchers and analysts, and differentiates itself by prioritizing document comprehension to speed up information retrieval. The goal is to become a preferred productivity tool for data-heavy workflows, with monetization planned through subscriptions or licenses after its private beta.

Hebbia integrates Preqin data into AI platform to streamline private markets research

Hebbia has integrated Preqin private markets data into its AI-powered research platform, providing investment professionals with enhanced analytical capabilities across private equity, venture capital, real assets and private debt. The integration enables users to query and analyse private market intelligence directly within their existing workflows. Preqin maintains comprehensive datasets covering fund performance, investor profiles, deal activity and fundraising trends across global private markets. By incorporating this data, Hebbia aims to reduce operational friction associated with manual data extraction and static reporting. The integration allows investment teams to conduct queries on fund track records, manager performance and capital flows alongside internal documents and regulatory filings within a single platform. This addresses challenges related to data transparency in private markets, where investments often lack standardised disclosure, by providing structured datasets for benchmarking and comparative analysis.
