About the Role
On the Uber Eats Southwest Operations team, we run operations for US Southwest markets, scaling our most impactful processes and initiatives, and driving innovation in the business. You’ll be responsible for developing data-driven insights, creating strategies, and managing marketing projects to improve the acquisition and retention of eaters in the Southwest. You will partner closely with central teams, territory leaders, legal, and finance to launch your projects and drive Eats’ growth. You will have the opportunity to build, develop, and scale comprehensive marketing campaigns to drive both brand and business impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Own Southwest out of home marketing strategy and campaigns
- Develop on the ground strategy for large events across the Southwest (e.g., SXSW, championship games)
- Identify and own partnerships with key organizations to help drive eater growth
- Create and deploy local digital marketing campaigns
- Coordinate Eats presence at local trade shows across the Southwest
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including central teams, other territories, marketing, and finance to achieve goals
- Build city-specific processes or campaigns needed in addition to or instead of scaled ones
- Drive analysis on strategic decisions, including understanding key levers to improve results and clarifying tradeoff decisions
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field (consumer marketing, consulting, operations, strategy)
- Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional work experience in a related field, such as consumer marketing, consulting, operations, or strategy
- Strong experience building and executing sophisticated processes
- Fluency across the marketing mix, specializing in a combination of field marketing, retail marketing and funnel marketing
- Proficiency in marketing analytics, demonstrating an ability to understand data, derive impactful insights, and bring clarity to opportunities
- Experience working directly with and managing external partnerships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of partners in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
- Unparalleled business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions
- Excellent organizational skills to balance many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items
- High energy working style and optimistic attitude
For Austin, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$91,000 per year - USD$101,500 per year.
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$91,000 per year - USD$101,500 per year.
For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$81,000 per year - USD$90,000 per year.
