Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the end-to-end product strategy, aligning with overarching business objectives.
  • Identify and set 3–5 key commercial priorities to drive growth, improve margin, and strengthen brand positioning, reviewing annually.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, category trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Translate insights into a clear, actionable product roadmap that supports short and long-term growth.
  • Lead the evaluation and refinement of go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with product positioning, customer needs, and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Director, Creative Director, Design Director Marketing Director and Finance Director roles to develop and deliver new products that balance aesthetic vision, customer relevance, and commercial viability.
  • Ensure product briefs are clear, customer-focused, and aligned with brand and design intent.
  • Drive new product development from concept through to launch, ensuring timelines, cost targets, and quality standards are met.
  • Own the product portfolio strategy, ensuring the right balance of range depth, breadth, and differentiation.
  • Guide product selection, assortment planning, and lifecycle management to optimize commercial performance and brand coherence.
  • Support the team in managing range structure and customer options, ensuring clarity, consistency, and relevance across categories.
  • Work in collaboration with Finance team to review product life cycle and recommend ways to extend or reenergise for longer life.
  • Lead the development of a pricing strategy that is both competitive and margin compelling.
  • Regularly review product performance, pricing architecture, and category contribution to ensure commercial objectives are being met.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and commercial focus.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Design, and Engineering to align on product goals and deliver seamless execution.
  • Champion a collaborative and customer-centric approach to product development and go-to-market planning.
  • Manage product management team.

The board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.1875 per share. Management cited macroeconomic uncertainty and severe winter weather as challenges during the period.
