  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, move throughout the office, operate a computer and productivity equipment, inspect documents, communicate with others, and read, identify, and assess forms and correspondence.
  • Ability to walk through airports and plants, remain standing for most of a shift, and climb ladders to access conveyor systems.
Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer sites.
  • Install and provide technical support for programmable logic controller-based hardware and software.
  • Perform control-system and software changes, and create and modify system specifications and operating procedures.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and repair sensors, scanners, visualization systems, motors, frequency inverters, and encoders.
  • Participate in testing and commissioning efforts at major airports.
  • Support proposals and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Meet timelines to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Build engineering and design skillsets where possible.
  • Participate in system installations, commissioning, debugging, testing, and support as part of the electrical and controls team for airport baggage security systems.
  • Explore engineering concepts and designs with experienced Controls Engineers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley programmable logic controller ControlLogix programming.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Experience with material handling equipment.

Daifuku said first-half net income rose 15% to 43.1 billion yen as sales grew 8.9% to 355.5 billion yen. Off the back of that, it raised its forecast for the year ending December 31st to 86.5 billion yen of net income and 735 billion yen of sales, up from 80 billion yen and 700 billion yen. It also lifted its basic earnings per share forecast to 233.55 yen and reiterated it expects to pay 90 yen per share in dividends for the year. Japanese company Daifuku has acquired 100% of shares in Eisenmann GmbH from current shareholder Nimbus Hands-on Investors. The acquisition strengthens Daifuku's manufacturing systems business for the automotive industry, particularly in painting and surface treatment. Eisenmann specialises in innovative automation technologies and sustainable solutions for painting and final assembly, primarily serving European automotive and industrial component manufacturers. Daifuku operates production and sales bases across 24 countries, with automobile production line systems forming a core business.
