  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in backend software development or management.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a manager.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DDoS mitigation, CDN caching strategies, and BGP.

  • Tackle complex problems on a global scale, ensuring smooth and efficient network operations.
  • Lead a group of talented engineers to enhance user experience, reduce networking latency, and ensure the security and reliability of Uber’s mobile and web traffic.
  • Foster collaborative efforts with key stakeholders to align objectives and optimize results.
  • Coordinate prompt responses to network outages or performance issues to maintain service reliability.
