- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience creating and introducing new plans with attention to detail, functionality, and outcome measurement is required.
- A Licensed Dietician, Registered Dietician Nutritionist, or National Exercise Trainers Association wellness coaching certification is required.
- A National Exercise Trainers Association, American Council on Exercise, or American Sports & Fitness Association certified group fitness instructor certification, or a Registered Yoga Teacher 200-hour certification from a Yoga Alliance-accredited school, is required.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification must be obtained within three months of employment.
- Teach or coach individuals and groups in diet, nutrition, or exercise.
- Conduct individual and group health risk evaluations or testing.
- Create and introduce new wellness plans with attention to detail, functionality, and outcome measurement.
- A related healthcare degree, such as exercise physiology, dietetics, nursing, or another pertinent healthcare field, is preferred.
- At least two years of teaching or coaching experience, or equivalent experience in diet, nutrition, or exercise, is preferred.
- Experience with individual and group health risk evaluations or testing is preferred.
