TurnCare delivers B2B healthcare technology for high-acuity patients. Its core product, the Guardian System, is a therapeutic patient support surface that uses the VasoTactic algorithm to apply dynamic pressure gradients to the sacral region, helping maintain blood flow and reduce pressure injuries, and it includes an inflatable surface, a controller, and a real-time data dashboard. The company differentiates itself with its proprietary VasoTactic tech, data-driven decision support, and a usage-based payment model managed with Monetize360. Its goal is to reduce hospital-acquired pressure injuries, shorten hospital stays, and improve patient safety and throughput in acute care settings.

What believers are saying

  • May 2026 ISPOR abstracts reinforced HAPI burden and Guardian’s economic value.
  • Northwestern Memorial Hospital presented TurnCare’s real-world evidence at ISPOR 2026.
  • The December 2025 leadership buildout targets faster commercial scaling across U.S. hospitals.

What critics are saying

  • TurnCare admits Guardian lacks a large-scale trial and still requires Q2 repositioning.
  • Rental economics and reusable surfaces face commoditization from bed and wound-care vendors.
  • If hospitals reject non-replacement claims, Guardian loses differentiation and pricing power quickly.

What makes TurnCare unique

  • Guardian pairs VasoTactic with real-time iS analytics for sacral pressure management.
  • TurnCare is US-only and uses a rental model, easing hospital adoption.
  • JoLynn Short’s 2025 commercial leadership and Milligan’s 2024 board strengthen execution.
