Requirements
- High School Diploma and 5 or more years of experience in the millwork industry
- Proficient with MS Office Suite / Excel
- Basic geometry a plus
- Ponderosa software a plus
- Familiar with a wide range of building materials a must
- Extensive product knowledge of doors and ability to build door units on vendor portals (Brosco Express and TruQuote)
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Strong sense of urgency
- Above average math skills
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and quoting of non-stock specialty products
- Communicating with inside and outside sales personnel for best product match for customer needs
- Working with in-house Custom Shop employees on labor cost and design
- Working cooperatively with vendors
- Using multiple vendor design and price portals
- Assisting in purchasing materials and processing paperwork as needed
- Assisting with inventory management
- Working in other purchasing roles as needed
