  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college (ABET preferred) or advanced degree
  • Five or more years of related experience
  • Candidate must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Tampa, FL area
  • Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn
  • Must have experience working on software engineering teams
  • Must have experience establishing good configuration management and product lifecycle practices
  • Must have experience with Cameo and MBSE modeling practices
  • Must have experience using modeling tools to model complex systems using SysML, and/or Unified Architecture Framework
  • Must have experience developing software products on Department of Defense related efforts
  • Position location onsite in Tampa, FL
  • CONUS travel up to 25%
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance and ability to maintain clearance
Responsibilities
  • The candidate will work onsite with a Government Program Management team to organize and facilitate communications across multiple interconnected systems engineering and software teams executing work toward several Department of Defense customer requirements
  • The candidate will participate in the development and review of systems engineering products, organize meetings, provide subject matter expertise support to customers and software engineering teams, and interface with government customers and contractor teams to ensure overall team success on the project
  • Candidate will engage with a wide variety of engineers and customers to develop collaborative plans and schedules and execute systems design in support of collaboration among a variety of Unmanned (UxS) platforms
  • Candidate will write and conduct reviews of comprehensive task planning documentation for upcoming feature development
  • Candidate will document due outs discussed during meetings and provide reminders to the teams to ensure completion of tasks
  • Candidate will help interface between customers, vendor partners, and teams executing tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense environment
  • Experience interfacing with customers
  • Experience with requirements development and management
  • Experience with software development
  • Familiarity with Digital Engineering Environments (DEE) for development, testing and deployment of systems
  • Familiarity with Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools and concepts
  • INCOSE SEP or OCSMP Certification
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile processes
  • Experience with Linux is a plus
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like Docker, QEMU, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with single board computers (Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, etc.)
  • Experience with remote controlled boats, vehicles, or planes is a plus
  • Familiarity with UxS command and control message formats (e.g., STANAG-4586, UCI, MAVLink)
  • Experience with next generation C2 architectures and data sets for the DoD
