Position Summary:

As Director of Storage and Backup Services, you will be driving the operational and engineering aspects of these services for Ensono’s strategic client.  You will be building and leading a dedicated team of approximately 120 associates globally, with expertise in Storage and Backup Technologies, Project Management, and Service Delivery Management. You will be responsible to achieve highest stability, lower number of incidents, migration and lifecycle of workload, and driving efficiency through automation along with adopting of AI/ML use to achieve utmost application uptime. You are expected to be in the client’s office location for two days a week and additionally as needed.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and enhance strong relationships with this strategic client to create a successful and prosperous engagement
• Be responsible for complete support, management and sustainability of all open systems Storage and Backup elements for this client
• Achieve highest stability and uptime for Storage and backup services and exercises, including migration, lifecycle, and disaster recovery services aligned with target state
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements regarding incident responsiveness, data recoverability, limitations, and availability
• Adherence to data storage retention policies and create routines for end-users to facilitate storage and backup best practices.
• Design, Refine, Plan and Test processes for current, new, and modified storage and backup elements along with coordinating release to production
• Publish Reports and Visibility related to Operational Data, Performance and Capacity Management
• Establish strong relationships with other vendors and service providers operating within this account
• Establish trust and rapport with Ensono’s client, be an integral part of client’s leadership team diligently attending formal and informal meetings virtually as well as in-person
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, through process enhancement and automation maturity
• Establish relationships within Ensono to create opportunities for learning and collaboration across Ensono Associates.

Required Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of experience with responsibility of managing infrastructure technology and operations, including Storage & Backup services
• 10+ years of experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management, Project Management, Vendor Management and Security Management
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Positive influencing verbal and written skills to build relationship and to lead
• Ability to think outside the box, holistically about processes that impact the business engagement, and continually refine processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of ITIL reference models
• Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives, driving change and innovation
• Excellent written and communication along with interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in independent and collaborative fast-paced environment, managing priorities properly
• Familiarity with industry best practices, standard and compliance requirement especially ones relevant to financial services field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in information technology related field
• Advanced ITIL, including ITIL v3 and v4, certification or training
• Experience on AI/ML integration into ITSM practices is a plus  
• Public Cloud professional certifications is desired
