Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or B2B sales, or 2 years with advanced degree.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
Responsibilities
  • Be an enabler for product and engineering leads of various Google platforms, apps, and experience to drive their priorities with key device partners to enable Google’s latest Gen AI technology.
  • Lead facilitation and execution of terms/agreements with partners, from driving app distribution, enhanced promotion, and go-to-market commitments.
  • Manage and optimize ongoing operational aspects of strategic partnerships. Track partner performance, developing key performance indicators and data driven approaches to measure impact and success.
  • Collaborate with adjacent Google service partnership teams proactively developing and delivering initiatives that drive developing partner growth and success. Work with executive leaders and cross-functional teams in bridging internal and external priorities.
  • Represent Google at conferences, announcements, and on-site at partner locations.
  • As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management.
  • You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
  • The Platforms Growth, Distribution & GTM team is the bridge between Google’s most ambitious product/service offerings and the users. Our team helps lead global product strategy, builds device platforms and ecosystems, and distributes the best of Google AI through these platforms.
  • We work hand-in-hand with the Platform and Ecosystem product and engineering teams to ensure users can experience the best of Google services and technology. Additionally, the team develops strategy and orchestrates execution plans for global distribution, adoption, promotion of Google AI, apps, experiences through the platforms (e.g. Android mobile, WearOS, Health), and via supplementary GTM programs by closely working with Google’s most valuable partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in partner-facing roles.
  • Interest or knowledge of consumer electronics, the mobile value chain (e.g., silicon, operation system, app developers, etc.), and the intersection with new Gen AI technologies.
  • Ability to operate independently with high emotional intelligence, attention to detail and effectively function with multiple cross-functional teams, including partner-facing teams.
  • Excellent influencing, written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery across a wide range of audiences.
  • Growth mindset, willingness and interest to take on new initiatives and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
