Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to think strategically, tactically, and creatively.
  • Ability to problem solve and refine systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to project manage multiple deadlines simultaneously and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team cross departmentally.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of direct marketing, email, direct mail, and digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of non-profit marketing best practices.
  • Knowledge of membership databases, inventory management systems, email tools (Higher Logic), web analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics), Google AdWords, SurveyMonkey, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with netFORUM database is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Execute renewal, acquisition and fundraising appeals using direct-mail, email, digital marketing, and online forms.
  • Assists in membership and fundraising reporting.
  • Manage direct marketing message schedules to ensure strict adherence to dates.
  • Work with printers and mailers to produce direct mail solicitations by providing copy, art, lists and proof approvals.
  • Work with email team to provide lists, copy, links and creative for all email solicitations.
  • Work with web team to create donation, membership, lead and renewal forms.
  • Work with the social media team to execute posts that support our acquisition, renewal and donation campaigns.
  • Ensure accurate data for all solicitations.
  • Ensure correspondence data is loaded into databases for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • Review and assist in data hygiene processes and facilitate data transfers to vendors.
  • Provide proofreading and testing support as needed.
  • Review pricing/bids and print/mail purchase orders. Submit related invoices to financial system.
  • Help manage premium inventory.

  • A passion for conservation and/or fishing is highly desired but not required.
