- Process weekly payroll for one manufacturing plant using a third-party payroll provider.
- Manage accounts payable for one plant by receiving vendor invoices, completing the three-way match, and obtaining payment approval from the authorized purchaser.
- Enter approved invoices in the company’s enterprise resource planning system and process weekly check runs for assigned locations.
- Assist with the year-end close process, including the annual review with external accountants.
- Participate in general accounting operations, including cash application, customer pricing updates, fixed asset management, and account reconciliations.
- Support the Accounting Manager and team with other assigned duties.
- Experience with an enterprise resource planning system and general ledger management.
- Experience utilizing a payroll system such as Paychex or ADP.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting.
