- Must have a valid driver's license
- Escort patients to exam room; obtain vitals, past/present medical history, and current medication list
- Effectively communicating allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients
- Administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections
- Conduct thorough and accurate spirometry testing
- Perform all testing and treatment in accordance with Aspire Allergy’s protocols and safety measures
- Navigate electronic health record system to record accurate patient health information
- Serve patients and visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately
- Assist in answering incoming and outgoing phone calls and providing accurate information
- Track clinical inventory and resupply when needed
- Ensure end of day reports and logs are accurate and complete
- Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations including confidentiality of patient information
- Adhere to Aspire Allergy’s protocols and safety measures
- Adhere to OSHA requirements including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines
- Willingness to be cross-trained in a variety of both front and back-office duties to provide full cycle clinic support
- Front office duties include becoming proficient in the Practice Management side of the Electronic Health Record, obtaining CT authorizations, scanning patient documents and medical records and attaching them to charts, checking patients in and out, taking payment, communicating an Out of Pocket Max for a patient, sending End of Day emails, scheduling patient appointments, enrolling patients in treatment of choice
- Completed Medical Assistant Program or Degree
- 1+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience
- 1+ Years of Medical Receptionist Experience
- Medical Assistant Certificate, vocational nurse license or related experience
- Current CPR Certification
