St. Joseph Center operates as a nonprofit social services organization supporting people experiencing homelessness and poverty throughout Los Angeles. It provides food assistance through its Bread & Roses Cafe and pantry, permanent and interim housing, rapid re-housing and re-entry services, mental health care, and job training programs including a coding bootcamp and culinary training kitchen, along with dedicated support for homeless youth and families. What sets St. Joseph Center apart is its integrated, healing-centered approach that combines housing, health, and employment services under one continuum of care rather than treating separate problems in isolation.
