- The candidate must be certified at Level II.
- The candidate must have at least two years of experience in fluorescent penetrant inspection.
- Contact Level III personnel to report problems with specific parts.
- Establish techniques to ensure the effectiveness of the product being inspected.
- Interpret visual indications and document the results.
- Calibrate equipment.
- Perform tests.
- Apply test criteria in accordance with existing standards and specifications and evaluate the results.
- Compile test results and prepare technical reports.
- Provide on-the-job guidance to Level I LPI employees.
- Perform all Level I LPI duties.
- Comply with the company’s environmental, health, and safety programs and code of ethics.
