Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in production coordination, construction operations, or a related role is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for professional interaction with internal teams, subcontractors, and builders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are required, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail is required for accurate data entry, documentation, and scheduling.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills are required to identify, address, and resolve workflow issues proactively.
  • Problem-solving ability and adaptability are required when priorities change or information is incomplete.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily and weekly production and service schedules, assigning field labor, subcontractors, and independent contractors effectively.
  • Support dispatching activities for field teams by communicating priorities and job details.
  • Monitor and respond to daily field requests through email, phone, or scheduling platforms.
  • Review incoming service and extra-pay requests from the field and process approvals according to established guidelines.
  • Confirm production lot readiness, verify documentation accuracy, and ensure work orders are properly labeled and coded.
  • Collaborate with field supervisors and branch management to align manpower allocation with workload demands.
  • Process and track service materials, submitting orders to Purchasing and ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Generate and manage UCR/ZADD entries for production installs and service work.
  • TECO all ZSVC, ZUCR, and ZADD orders and hand them off to Billing once requirements are met.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for production and service jobs, including labor hours, completion notes, and work-order records.
  • Coordinate with branch leadership, installers, and construction managers regarding schedule changes, material updates, and jobsite conditions.
  • Print, distribute, and archive service and production paperwork as required.
  • Provide administrative support for customer service by managing pre-close and post-install service documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting on field performance, labor utilization, and material usage.
  • Track and process material shortages, jobsite repairs, and service-related issues with field and warehouse teams.
  • Support field operations through labor coordination, scheduling adjustments, and problem resolution with minimal direction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prevent delays and ensure service and repair activities are completed on time.
  • Assist with creating purchase orders for cabinet and laminate sub-labor for production and service.
  • Perform other administrative and coordination duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in construction service dispatch and coordination, including labor scheduling, work-order management, or installation support.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience supporting field operations or warranty service coordination.
  • Understanding of construction and installation processes involving flooring, countertops, cabinetry, or similar materials.
  • Experience dispatching or coordinating construction labor or service crews.
  • Familiarity with field-service scheduling software and job-tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of interior finish materials, including tile, vinyl, carpet, countertops, and cabinetry, and material matching for repairs and replacements.

Interior Logic Group, Inc. and Interior Specialists, Inc. announced a merger to form the largest interior finish services company in the US, with $1.5 billion in revenue. The new company, headquartered in Irvine, CA, will have over 4,300 employees and 225 locations. Alan Davenport will be President & CEO, and Mark Fikse will be Executive VP. The merger, backed by Littlejohn & Co. and Platinum Equity, is expected to close in Q2 2018, with Bank of America Merrill Lynch arranging debt financing.
