Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Licensed by the State of Maryland
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Responsibilities
  • Directly assist Radiologist during all aspects of invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations as directed by the Radiologist.
  • Communicate clinical observations during CT Scan examinations to Radiologist.
  • Present clinical history as recorded on appropriate documentation to Radiologist.
  • Ensure patient CT questionnaire is completed for each patient and reviewed prior to start of exam.
  • Perform 3-D imaging functions.
  • Provide educational information to the patient regarding their examination.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/Entity as well as the proper release of information.
Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with an emphasis on cross sectional imaging, and/or CT preferred
  • 1 year scanning experience preferred
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred
  • IV certification preferred
