Requirements
  • At least 5 years of B2B software-as-a-service product marketing experience, owning positioning, messaging, and launches end to end.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, financial services, or another regulated B2B software category.
  • Experience building a repeatable voice-of-customer practice and turning call transcripts, reviews, and other insights into content and messaging inputs.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining artificial-intelligence-driven marketing workflows, such as custom GPTs, Claude skills, or comparable agentic automations.
  • A track record of shipping product launches end to end, from positioning through sales enablement and market feedback.
  • Excellent plain-language writing ability.
  • Comfort owning a living knowledge base, such as Notion or a similar tool, as a single source of truth, and maintaining it over time.
Responsibilities
  • Own DefenseStorm's core messaging architecture, including Company Messaging, Platform Messaging for GRID Active, the Strategic Messaging Map, and the DefenseStorm Lexicon, and keep it current as the product and competitive landscape change.
  • Maintain ideal customer profile and segmentation definitions across bank and credit union segments consistently across Salesforce, campaign targeting, and territory planning.
  • Run the weekly competitive and market intelligence readout against the competitor set and broader cybersecurity and risk field, keep the Competitive Intel database and battlecards current, and use insights as ideas for new content.
  • Run voice-of-customer workstreams in close partnership with Product leadership.
  • Deliver and execute product- and solution-level content strategy with demand marketing, sales, and product to provide relevant content in appropriate formats and channels.
  • Serve as the marketing counterpart to Product for launch tiering, commercial planning, and roadmap visibility for every release, including a standing weekly sync.
  • Lead go-to-market for new capabilities, features, products, and partners, including internal and external release communications, subject-matter-expert-reviewed web page updates, refreshed product data sheets and one-pagers, demo videos, and other required content.
  • Own the interactive demo strategy, developing use cases for different scenarios with customer- and prospect-facing teams and producing the content with relevant teams.
  • Keep the sales knowledge base, value frameworks, and sales introduction decks accurate and aligned with the materials sellers use to build proposals.
  • Build and deliver enablement resources, including frequently asked questions, objection handling, and live training tied to releases and competitive moves, with Sales and Product leadership.
  • Support partner go-to-market, including technology alliances such as CrowdStrike, with content and positioning that Partnerships can execute independently.
  • Own and extend the Content Machine artificial-intelligence workflow that turns market signals into briefs, campaign plans, and drafted content with brand and terminology quality assurance.
  • Build, document, and maintain Claude skills and automations that keep the marketing knowledge base, content pipeline, and sales-facing materials synchronized with the product.
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Data on segmentation, go-to-market data quality, and reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience marketing managed detection and response, security operations center, governance, risk, and compliance, or risk-and-governance products specifically.
  • Prior experience inheriting or building a product marketing function through a team transition or backfill.
  • Familiarity with Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, or National Credit Union Administration-adjacent compliance language.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, a SQL data warehouse such as ClickHouse, Gong, and marketing automation platforms.
