Primary Responsibilities
•    Manage Quality flow downs to suppliers. 
•    Approve procurement requisitions.
•    Supplier oversite to include on site process inspection.
•    Approve final data packages prior to delivery.
•    Report any process changes to Management.
•    Track and complete issued NCRs and report through program channels.
•    Problem solving Non-conformances and conduct root cause investigations on assembly components.
•    Perform PFMEA to identify potential failure related to operational processes.
•    Quality Inspection duties as required.

Basic Qualifications
•    Candidate must have a BS degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED or equivalent education with 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.)
•    Candidate should have at least 4 years of quality experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
•    Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama, AL area.
•    Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
•    Must have a knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
•    Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
•    Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
•    Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and able to obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
•    Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
•    Previous auditing experience.
•    IPC 610/620 certified.
•    J-STD certified.
•    FAA A&P license eferred Qualifications

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
