Job Description Summary
The H&V Sonographer Educator reports to the managers of the echocardiogram and vascular labs and works with the medical directors of the labs regarding image quality. Under indirect supervision, the H&V Sonographer Educator consults with H&V leadership, ICCE, organizational leadership and interprofessional team to lead, develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based, quality and educational programs and activities that promote professional competency and role performance for echo and vascular technologists as well as student education.
Full time position, 1.0 FTE, Monday - Friday with some remote capability at managers discretion. Day shift. No nights, weekends, holidays, or call. Will provide educational opportunities for educator as well.
Duties include onboarding new CTMs, education of current staff, ensuring yearly competencies for the sonographers is completed, scanning with new CTMs and students to ensure quality imaging is obtained.

Job Description
Must be RVT registered under ARDMS or RVS registered under CCI for vascular sonography and/or must be RDCS registered under ARDMS or RCS registered under CCI for echo sonographers.
BLS certified.
Must have 5 years of cardiac and/or vascular sonography experience.
