Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of RSF's Red Sox Scholars program, inclusive of program design, execution, evaluation and budget management
  • Serve as a consistent mentor for Red Sox Scholars including but not limited to quarterly, in-person or virtual check-ins with Scholars to identify their needs and support their academic, professional, and social progress
  • Oversees RSS staff inclusive of recruitment, training, and evaluation
  • Effectively manages RSS staff to develop, measure, execute and evaluate a comprehensive curriculum to deliver academic, professional and social support services
  • Together with other Red Sox Scholars staff, act as liaison between the Red Sox Foundation and Red Sox Scholars and their families
  • Leads RSS' application, interview and selection processes for the newest class each year, as well as the annual Red Sox Scholars Ceremony to celebrate inductees, high school and college graduates
  • Oversee the Red Sox Scholar staff responsible for the scholarship disbursement process, helping Red Sox Scholars to review their financial aid packages, maximize their scholarship and financial aid, and find additional scholarship opportunities
  • Manages RSS' collection of data to effectively measure and evaluate the program's impact to make data-informed decisions about future program design
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of RSF's New England Service Scholarship initiative, inclusive of promotion, application review, and scholarship disbursement
  • Assists with sponsor activation related to Red Sox Foundation educational programming and works collaboratively with colleagues across departments to develop new strategies for sponsor engagement
  • Assist the Director of Programs and Senior Programs Manager on the execution and review of the Fenway Park Learning Lab to ensure Boston Public School students and teachers have an enriching experience
  • Cultivate relationships with donors, potential donors and program partners in order to secure funding for RSS and other educational initiatives to increase the impact of our programming
  • Works collaboratively with RSF staff to support fundraising efforts as necessary
