Responsibilities
  • Provide daily administration at the reception desk including meeting and greeting guests, addressing queries and complaints, and booking rooms
  • Maintain high standards of customer service at the reception desk to exceed customer expectations
  • Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning and teamwork
  • Escalate matters affecting hotel interests to Management
  • Coordinate Interact (INTERREACT)
  • Provide effective support to the team to deliver efficient services
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify optimal, cost-effective use of resources and educate team on proper use
  • Ensure quality and appropriateness of customer service
  • Maintain Front Office log book and shift reports
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve problems effectively
  • Ensure swift, smooth, professional and friendly check-in and check-out for all guests
  • Maintain record of all banquet and hotel functions
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational issues
  • Carry out duties within reasonable expectations of the role
  • Adhere to Procedures & Standards Manual
  • Display proactive initiatives to improve service
  • Liaise with Housekeeping for Room Status
  • Handle additional responsibilities as delegated by Management
  • Ensure workplace and storage areas are clean and tidy
  • Follow safety guidelines for equipment
  • Apply hotel's security regulations
  • Support environmental commitments and ISO 14001 program as applicable to the hotel
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in Interact system or equivalent hotel operations platform
  • Knowledge of Ibis ISO 14001 environmental commitments (if applicable)
  • Fluency in multiple languages
  • Experience working in Ibis hotel environment
