WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an intern to join our Strategic Advisory Group. We are looking for an Analyst with experience in quantitative data research/analysis, financial modeling, and critical thinking.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH:
The Strategic Advisory division provides services in the following major areas: Venue Advisory; Valuation; and Transaction Due Diligence.

WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE:
- Support team members in performing strategic analysis for sports industry clients
- Support in researching and preparing data on stadium and arena development projects: Market/Financial Feasibility, Financing Plans, Negotiation Advisory/Support, Economic/Fiscal Impact Studies, Lease / Real Estate Valuation
- Aid in building professional reports to present to clients
- Perform quantitative data collection and analysis
- Assist with other Strategic Advisory team members as needed
- Quality control of client reports ensuring accuracy
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Sports Management, or related experience, with an expected graduation date in Spring/Summer/Winter 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical skills; Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, planning, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Dependable, results-focused, and ethical
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to work in or near Nashville, TN
General Information:
This is the CAA ICON Intern Application for Summer 2025 in-person internship opportunities. This application is intended for current university students who are currently in their Junior year, Senior year, or a Graduate program.
About Our Internships:
CAA ICON’s world-class internship is an educational, hands-on, and project-based experience. CAA ICON is a highly collaborative global team. Interns will have the opportunity to work with industry executives, develop personally and professionally through our in-house professional development courses, and hear from Executives across the organization throughout the internship.
The Summer 2025 Internship Program is an in-person, full-time opportunity from May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025. All internships are paid employment opportunities. Interns are responsible for their own transportation. A housing stipend will be offered for those who are not local to the intern opportunity. A laptop and other resources necessary to support the work will be provided.
Individuals who now or in the future require visa sponsorship are not eligible for our internship or full-time opportunities.
Eligibility for Internships:
• Applicants must be able to work full-time at 40 hours per week
• Applicants should currently be in their Junior year, Senior year, or a Graduate program
Compensation:
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $18.30 - $25.00. Ultimately, hourly rates for interns are determined by geographic location, among other criteria.
